White Rock Pride!

On Monday, July 25th the Rector had the privilege of taking part in the raising of the pride flag above White Rock City Hall.

He was supported by parishioners Nigel Cole and Chris Neeps. Mayor Wayne Baldwin said that the city stood firmly on the side of diversity and inclusiveness and was very happy that this ceremony was becoming an annual tradition. Coffee and rainbow coloured cake were served afterwards.

A lovely picture from our Refugee Fundraiser on May 31!

The Refugee concert was was an overwhelming success – it was a sell-out performance with fantastic entertainment and delicious tapas. We raised over $2,700.00  to be donated to this wonderful cause!

The organisers would like to extend their sincerest thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who sold tickets, bought the food and beverages, prepared and served the food, manned the bar, helped with clean up, and of course, to everyone who supported the cause by buying tickets and attending the concert.

Sincerest Thanks!                 Peter Johnson, Co-ordinator
