DIOCESAN PRAYER:  The Deanery of Sea to Sky - The Reverend Clarence Li, Regional Dean; The Coming Home Society – Linda Adams, ODNW (President)

Read, Mark and Learn - The “Book Nook” has kindly allowed the Rector a few shelves on which to display a selection of the books he has for sale.  These are clearly marked.  Do take a look.  He is happy to inscribe any book you purchase as a memento of his time here.  Steve Swenson will help you.

Mothering Sunday
By ancient tradition, the middle of Lent is kept as Mothering Sunday.  We thank God for our own mothers, whether alive or in heaven, and those who have had a maternal influence in our lives.  We also honour Mary, mother of the incarnate God.  Daffodils will be presented to all our ladies today, in memory of Ernie Lewis, loving husband to Letta and beloved father to Caroline and Alison.

Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John

Many people have said how much they are enjoying the special Lenten journal prepared by the Community of St. John the Evangelist – with a piece of John’s work for each day of Lent.  The study part of our Lenten course concludes this week.  Wednesday evenings did not seem to work for people, so we will meet on Friday at 2:00 p.m.
