October 1, Announcements
FLOWERS AT THE ALTAR are given this week, to the Glory of God, by Judy Belanger, in loving memory of her mother, Lorna Moyan.

Next Sunday we are celebrating Harvest Thanksgiving. Let us make it a banner year with a great collection of non-perishable food for Sources, and a special collection this year of fresh fruit and vegetables.
This special feast falls on October 8th. For many years we have expressed our thanksgiving in a very tangible form. We collect as much non-perishable food as we can to support the wonderful work of Sources, our local food bank. Start collecting now!
Top Ten Needed Food Items:
- Large cans of powdered Baby Formula
- Canned Fish/Meat (e.g. tuna, ham, turkey)
- Healthy Cereal (Hot or Cold)
- Meals in a Tin (e.g. Pork n’ Beans or Stew)
- Canned Vegetables
- Canned Fruit
- Wholegrain Pasta/Rice
- Pasta Sauces
- Canned and Dry Soups
- Mac & Cheese
This year we’d also like to focus on providing much-needed fresh fruit and vegetables as well, so we’ll be having a special collection – please do try to bring one or two fresh items for our baskets on this Sunday!
