If you enjoy singing and would like to be part of the Choir, practices are held on Thursday evenings at 7:15 p.m. in the church. New members are always welcome — men and women.

Foremost, and as always, a huge debt of gratitude is owed to the choir who, with loyalty, skill and dedication, persevere to enhance immeasurably the worship at Holy Trinity.
During 2018 we introduced some new hymns and rehearsed and performed some challenging works. We have enjoyed musical offerings from Ferdinand Bredenholler on trumpet. Some members of our choir sang at Weatherby Pavilion on a few occasions, with Cynthia Batchelor accompanying on piano.

As a choir, we attend services twelve months of the year and sing at memorial services. We have been doing varied presentations of the psalms, with talented cantors and readers. Several choir members also serve in multiple capacities during services.
Many thanks to Lynne Francis for coaching the congregation in learning new hymns. She generously gave of her time and talent to prepare very moving choral selections for Good Friday and other occasions, which included wonderful solo work by Sean Latimer and Lenore Richards – thank you both! We enjoyed a successful service of Advent Lessons and Carols. The performances were bolstered by additional choristers from within and outside the congregation.

Early in 2018, the choir, indeed the church and community, lost one of its most stalwart, steadfast and faithful members, Peter Johnson. He will be sorely missed.
Our thanks and appreciation to Terri Johanson for filling in on the organ during the incumbent’s vacation. Our choir rehearses Thursdays 7:15 p.m. to about 8:15 p.m. at the church. Have a word with me if you are interested in joining. Hymn suggestions and comments are always welcome.
